Brann & Isaacson Lawyers Teach at Harvard Law School and Maine Law this Fall
Several of B&I’s attorneys will be teaching classes at the region’s law schools this fall. Peter Brann is once again offering his popular course at the Harvard Law School on “The Role of the State Attorney General.” For years now, Brann has team-taught this class at Columbia, Yale, and Harvard Law Schools with former Maine Attorney General James Tierney. Brann served as Maine’s State Solicitor before joining B&I, and his litigation practice focuses on intellectual property and corporate disputes. He also regularly represents companies and individuals in formal and informal dealings with state attorneys general and state and federal government agencies.
Meanwhile at the University of Maine School of Law, David Bertoni and Eamonn Hart are co-teaching “Class Actions and Complex Litigation.” The seminar-style class focuses on how complex litigation—with a focus on class actions and other aggregate litigation—operates day-to-day in federal and state courts nationwide. Bertoni and Hart are partners in B&I’s acclaimed litigation practice. With over three decades of experience, Bertoni brings deep industry knowledge and a creative, results-driven approach. From defending clients in complex litigation, class actions, and mass arbitrations to offering bespoke preventive strategies, Bertoni is dedicated to reducing legal risks and achieving successful outcomes. Eamonn Hart also focuses on complex litigation, including class actions and commercial disputes. Hart is a former Chair of the New Lawyers Section of the Maine Bar Association.
