Isobel Golden is an associate at Brann & Isaacson, where her practice focuses on litigation and municipal law. Prior to joining the firm, Isobel clerked for the Maine Superior Court and worked for three years as a litigation associate at a midsize law firm in Portland, Maine.
Isobel graduated from the University of Maine School of Law cum laude in 2020. During law school, she was an Articles Editor for the Maine Law Review and served as a Bernstein Fellow at the Lewiston District Court. She also spent a semester in Washington, D.C. as a legal extern with the Student Borrower Protection Center, where she focused on consumer protection issues affecting student borrowers.
Isobel graduated from Bates College in 2011. Before law school, she worked extensively in Maine state politics and public service. She worked as a legislative aide in both the Maine House and Maine Senate, as a field director for a congressional campaign, and served on the Lewiston City Council during the 2016-2017 term.
Isobel grew up on a small blueberry farm in Waldoboro, Maine and now lives in Lewiston with her husband and their two energetic young daughters. She enjoys kitchen dance parties with her kids, exploring Maine, and cooking elaborate meals for her family, even though they (including her husband) would happily eat mac and cheese and chicken nuggets for every meal.
